Bio

Formed in Santiago, Chile, in 1989, Pirosaint emerged from the underground metal scene with a sound rooted in thrash metal, technical arrangements, and rhythm-driven songwriting.

The band’s early history includes the demos Atrocity Not Condign (1992) and Infected Dreams (1994), followed by the New God EP in 1997.

Founding drummer Ignacio Orellana reactivated Pirosaint in New York in 2011. The early demos were remastered as Infected Brutality in 2013, followed by a remastered edition of New God in 2017.

In 2021, Pirosaint released the full-length album Know Thyself through Digmetalworld, connecting the band’s history with new material recorded across New York, Santiago, and São Paulo.
